Bye GE’s, easier math, chem and physics subjects… Hello to bloody ES series and socsci 2 (sana di ‘to mabasa ni mam)……

i guess ES 11 is worth the hype that it’s receiving after all.. since this sem has started, all the familiar names under my IE-blockmates list began disappearing like bubbles.. (j3, exempted ka! lol) I’m starting to feel that i’m the only one who has time to check my mail everyday (and of course, nba :D).. Am I relaxing too much or is it just my classmates are beginning to feel the horror that is onse?

ES 11 - Our prof told us that there was an exam last year which only had a 10% passing rate.. 50 out of 500… iniisip ko tuloy na kung sakali ay mapapasama ako dun sa 50.. parang ang hirap.. lalo na kapag kaklase mo na sila roana, 49 na lang ang possible "passing slots" peace!!! hehe
The first meeting of 11 was booring… it was a review of physics 71… tensions holding the trees blah blah blah… using graphical method when we can use the much much easier component method.. raar!

Econ 100.1 - Macroeconomics… Economics is everywhere <- Sir De Dios "We economists take the view from the top, while business managers are only concerned with running their company" I think it indirectly states that BA students are selfish.. (haha kidding) Sir De Dios is really funny, he’s greatly amazed by powerpoint animations…he keeps on replaying the animation and says, "wanna see it again? galing no?" *the dot moving from the demand curve to the "inefficient" area under the curve*

ES21 - another laughing session during MTh’s… Kulet talaga ni sir templo… ngayon ko lang nalaman na pede pala maging magaling ang walang sagot…hahaha 21 is just like math 54, with a different approach in solving problems… (tama ba hula? haha)

Philo 1 - may be the most interesting class this sem… The class starts off with this question: What is philo, science and religion? diffrentiate them… A student defined religion as something related to faith and belief and blah blah.. she was an english speaker who may have thought that her answer was enough to satisfy sir Muega.. Sir countered with, "what is faith and belief? do they always come together?" The poor girl sulked in her chair.. with only whispers leaving her mouth… all right, if i’m going to write the whole discussion here, it’s going to take forever… basta, yun na yun, philosophical questions are answered by critical thinking! TAPOS!

Soc Sci 2 - Eto na ata ang class na pinaka pag bubuhusan ko ng pagod… simply put: 90-94 is just 1.5 in this class!!! 98-100 is 1.00… Ma’am Delias asked us after the class if we had anymore questions.. i raised my hand and asked, "ma’am when was the last time that a student got an uno from you?" she’s murmured something like: "last sem, it was 1.5, the last year it was 1.25…" Unable to remember if there was any, she said: "may naka 1.00 na the last year…" tumahimik ang class, para bang ayaw maniwala…lol

6/10 lang pala ako sa first quiz…:D

PE - weight training… finally, pumayag din ang prof sa prerog… wheew… magaling mag explain si sir diaz! ang dami kong natutunan about our body and weight training sa kanya… basta, ginawa niyang interesting ang PE… about badminton, ma’am caces told me and another student: "if you have played badminton before, then you will just be wasting your time here because i’m going to teach basic badminton" tapos, huminga (haba ng sinabi eh)… "i advise you to take PEPE (PE proficiency exam) because it will save your time and it will be credited as a PE." Ayun, willing na willing pa si ma’am na i-cancel yung "PE BD" ko dun sa form 5 A… Yung PEPE ng badminton ay sa february pa pala.. tsktsk, sadly, credited daw yun sa next year pa! raaar!

so that’s about everything this week… sundan na lang ang susunod na kabanata…
